Field
Description
Enable Mirroring
Enable port mirroring capability globally on the switch. Clear to disable the feature.
Destination Port
Select the port to which packets will be mirrored.
Source Port
Direction
For each source port you want to mirror to the destination port, select the direction of the packets
to be mirrored:
•
Tx and Rx—
All packets transmitted and received on the source port are mirrored.
•
Rx—
Only packets received on the source port are mirrored.
•
Tx—
Only packets transmitted on the source port are mirrored.
•
None—
No packets are mirrored from this port (default).
The port selected as the Destination Port is greyed-out and unavailable for selection.
Ports that are included as part of a trunk cannot be selected individually as source ports, but
trunks can be selected as source ports.
Note:
The Source Port
CPU
can be mirrored to an external port to debug traffic to and from the
CPU.
