ZPWY-MAP-DEF-TCP
ZTERMPOOL
is the number of bytes that the TCP allocates in its data area for all terminal I/O
buffers. The value for this field is the minimum number of bytes that the TCP
allocates for the pool size. ZTERMPOOL must be large enough to hold at least one
copy of the largest terminal input buffer, the largest UMP message, or the value
that you assign to the ZTERMBUF field.
For a TCP that runs the gateway requester program to support Pathway/iTS web
clients, set the value of ZTERMPOOL to 200,000 bytes. Otherwise, calculate an
appropriate ZTERMPOOL value for your configuration by multiplying the number of
TERM objects by the size of the largest terminal input buffer plus the largest UMP
message. For example, with 100 TERM objects, a largest terminal input buffer of
1000 bytes, and a largest UMP message of 1000 bytes, set the ZTERMPOOL
value to 200,000 bytes (100*(1000+1000)=200,000.
If you do not assign a value to this field, the default is 10,000.
ZUNUSED1
is a filler token, included in this extensible structured token for purposes of
backward compatibility with older SPI requestors.
ZHIGHPIN
is the default PIN (process identification number) range for the TCP process. The
following values are valid:
If you omit this field, the default is ZPWY-VAL-OFF.
For a TCP to run at a high PIN, the ?HIGHPIN flag must be set in the PATHTCP2
object file and the PATHTCPL or PATHTCPK library file. The ?HIGHPIN flag is set
by default for these files.
ZPOWERONRECOVERY
specifies whether or not the TCP automatically recovers a screen after the TCP
encounters a file-system error 191.
Note.
The pool space allocated for ZTERMPOOL is the value you configure rounded off to
the next-highest multiple of 4.
ZPWY-VAL-ON
The TCP runs at a high PIN, if other requirements are met.
ZPWY-VAL-OFF
The TCP runs at a low PIN.
