Answering Machine

Important!

To use the answering machine, the Answer Mode must be set to

TAM/FAX.

See “Setting the Answer Mode” on page 8.

Your fax machine includes an integrated telephone answering machine

(TAM). The answering machine is digital. You do not need tapes or

batteries. It will retain your messages in case of power failure. Follow these

instructions to use the answering machine.
