Here are a few recommended actions and tips:

Follow any on-screen recommendations that may appear.

Check the component, update the computer’s BIOS if necessary, and run the Basic
System Test again.
For BIOS updates and instructions, connect to your computer’s support web site
(refer to page 7 for web addresses).

Run the Advanced Tests to investigate the error in greater depth.
•
Send the Support Ticket to your service provider by email or fax.
The Support Ticket is a complete record of the test results. It is the most effective way
to communicate the problem to your support provider. To learn more about the
Support Ticket, refer to chapter 6.

For HP Compaq Business PCs and some HP Workstations:
If the
F11 - Emit Code
button appears on the screen, you can press
F11
to emit the
audio error code signal for the error. This is useful if your Service Provider is equipped
with a Virtual Call Assistant, because you can emit the audio signal over the phone so
your Support Provider can analyze the audio signal to help solve your problem.
