6. Lift up the rear edge of the top cover

until it disengages

from the base enclosure.

7. Slide the top cover

to the right until the TouchPad cable is

accessible.

8. Disconnect the TouchPad cable

from the system board.

Removing the Top Cover

9. Remove the top cover.

Reverse the above procedure to install the top cover.
