Removal and Replacement Procedures
3. Disconnect the fan cable

from the system board.

The following screws should be removed, then installed, in the
1, 2, 3, 4 sequence stamped on the fan assembly.
4. Loosen the two Phillips PM2.0×3.0 screws

and the
two Phillips PM2.5×7.0 screws

that secure the fan
assembly to the computer.
5. Remove the fan assembly

Due to the adhesive quality of the thermal paste located
between the video heat sink and video board, it may be
necessary to move the heat sink from side to side to detach the
heat sink from the video board.
