module's

oven/oscillator

when

the

mainframe

is

turned

o.

An

HP

70310A

Option

002

module

does

not

have

an

internal

oven/oscillator

and,

therefore

,

does

not

need

an

external

power

pack.

Caution

Install

the

HP

70310A

module

into

the

mainframe

and

connect

the

external

power

pack

to

the

HP

70310A

module

before

plugging

the

external

power

pack

into

the

ac

power

source

.

If

the

external

power

pack

is

incorrectly

connected

its

fuse

can

open,

resulting

in

a

6015

Oven

cold

error

at

power-on.
