Using VUE System Applications
The applications directory , myname/.vue/apps , gives y ou a w a y to easily access
the applications a v ailable on y our w orkstation. F or customization information,

Finding and Running an Application
1. Click the Application Directory button (represen ted b y \pages") on y our
W orkspace Manager to display a le manager view of the application
directory . This will display a c hoice of
NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
personal_apps or
NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
system_apps
folders. The latter gives y ou suc h functions as edit, prin t, and system
administration utilities.
2. Double clic k on the folder con taining the application y ou w an t to run.
Occasionally , y ou may need to op en sev eral lev els of folders b efore y ou get to
the application icon.
Once y ou ha v e the application icon on screen, y ou can start the application in
sev eral w a ys:
Double clic k on the icon.
Drag a le icon from the le manager and drop it on the w orkspace
bac kdrop.
Select a le of the le t yp e asso ciated with the application and then c ho ose
the application from the
NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
