To reset the error code:
1) Turn off the power switch.
2) While pressing the set, up and down buttons together, turn on the power switch.
3) The error code is reset when the display shows a temperature. If the error code appears
again, turn off the power switch and immediately contact an authorized Hoshizaki
service company.
[b] TROUBLES WITHOUT ERROR CODE INDICATION
1) The unit fails to operate:
(1) The unit is unplugged or the power supply is off.
(2) Power failure.
(3) The earth leakage circuit breaker switched off. Immediately contact an authorized
Hoshizaki service company.
2) The ready lamp fails to light up:
(1) The hot water tank is not full and the temperature inside the tank has not reached
the set point.
3) The unit fails to dispense product:
(1) The ready lamp is off. See 2) above.
4) The product concentration is too low:
(1) The premix package is empty. Replace it according to “6. [c] PREMIX PACKAGE”.
(2) The premix setting is too low.
(3) The suction pump is not properly connected. Reconnect it according to “6. [c]
PREMIX PACKAGE”.
(4) The impeller is defective. See “5. [d] SUCTION PUMP” for details. Ask an authorized
Hoshizaki service company for replacement.
5) Premix is dripping:
(1) The impeller is defective. See “5. [d] SUCTION PUMP” for details. Ask an authorized
Hoshizaki service company for replacement.
(2) The suction pump is loosely fixed. Retighten the screws.
(3) The reducer is out of position. Remove the dispensing nozzle and reinstall the
reducer according to “5. [d] SUCTION PUMP”.
6) Only hot water is dispensed:
(1) The joint tap is closed.
(2) The impeller is defective. See “5. [d] SUCTION PUMP” for details. Ask an authorized
Hoshizaki service company for replacement.
(3) The suction pump is loosely fixed. Retighten the screws. See “5. [d] SUCTION
PUMP” for details.
7) Only premix is dispensed:
(1) The dispensing pipe on the casing is not properly connected to the hot water
outlet. Open the front cover and reconnect the dispensing pipe according to “5. [d]
SUCTION PUMP” for details.
