TerraGrip Tines
The TerraGrip tines are installed in the machine
They are very robust, of simple design and most
suitable for deep soil cultivation.
The tines are equipped with a spring loaded trip
release system. With a trip release pressure of
approx. 570 kg on each tine, the trip release
system protects tines, tine holders and coulters
against damage.
The tripping characteristic keeps the tine steady
in the soil for a long time. Once the tripping
force is reached the tines may retract up to 30
cm upwards.
TerraGrip Tines
The tines may be equipped with different coul
-
ter shapes and widths to suit various operating
conditions.
NOTE
The stone release protection serves as protec-
tion system against obstacles in the field.
¾
Reduce the working depth if the stone re-
lease protection is often triggered under hard
ground conditions, even without stones as
obstacles.
Adapting the hose
connection
Both the hose bracket and the hose length can
be adapted to the tractor during initial commis-
sioning or when changing the tractor.
The hoses should thereby be routed in such a
way, that the hoses and couplings will not be
damaged under any operating conditions, in the
field, in transport position and when cornering.
¾
Adjust the inclination of the hose bracket. In
this setting fix the bracket suitable for trans
-
port and work.
¾
Loosen the hose bracket on the frame and
displace it so, that there is suffici9ent move
-
ment space for lifting/lowering and cornering.
¾
Adjust the free length of the hoses to the
tractor. For this purpose loosen the clamping
brackets and move the hoses accordingly.
Please consider also a loop for cornering.
Fasten the clamping brackets again.
