Fertiliser placement - DiscSystem connecting rod
¾
Perform the depth setting for the DiscSystem
before carrying out the depth setting of the
fertiliser equipment.
¾
Adjust the depth via the bolt on the connect-
ing rod.
In middle position both disc systems work in
the same depth.
The further the stop is adjusted towards the
rear, the deeper the fertiliser will be placed.
¾
Adjust all connecting rods equally.
NOTE
Check the adjustment before starting work and
also regularly in-between.
Deactivating the fertiliser equipment
If only seed is to be placed, the fertiliser equip-
ment can be fixed in transport position.
¾
Lift out the fertiliser discs completely.
¾
Remove all bolts of the depth setting and
insert them in the brackets:

Switch off the metering unit in the E-Manager
if the fertiliser hopper is not used for seed.

Maintenance
¾
If the coulter discs are worn, slightly turn the
fertiliser pipes upward to prevent them from
being abraded.
Loosen both screws (1), adjust the pipe high
and fasten the screws again:

Cleaning
¾
Do not wash the bearing locations with high
pressure cleaners.
¾
Spray the bearing locations with a suitable rust
dissolver or anticorrosive before extended
idle periods.
¾
Before taking back into service turn the discs
by hand and check for free rotation.
