Check the wear on the opening disks, if
needed adjust the firming wheel.
• Check the firming wheel every day for
damage and free rotation.
Hard moving wheels may
displace grains in the seedbed
and thus cause irregular
distribution.

The machine may also be equipped with an
optional Keeton style seed firmer.

Seed Boot Option
The machine may also be equipped with an
optional Seed Boot as a row furrow attachment.
The Seed Boot is a great option for any Maestro
planter row unit to add further efficiency in seed
placement, increasing the trajectory of seed flow
to the bottom of the trench, reducing deposited
seeds to the side, placing the seed precisely
where it should be for maximum yield potential.
