Emptying Residues/Cleaning 

When the tank is full a gate valve can be pushed 

into the outlet funnel. The distributor can then be 

opened for inspection, cleaning or emptying. 

For emptying, place a container under the 

distributor and pull the gate valve out slightly.  

Gate Valve 

 

SOD Distributor (Open)

 

Remember to close the SOD 

distributor and return the gate 

valve to it storage position. 

Checks and Maintenance 

•

  Check all hoses and connections every 

day for leaks. 

•

  Clean the distributor weekly and remove
