Backing disc
A backing disc has been assembled under the
metering disc.

2 Backing disc
The backing disc stabilises the metering disc.
Shims
Shims (thickness 0.2 mm) can be inserted under
the backing discs to equalize tolerances.
Shim
In case of an alarm because of a too high cur-
rent demand (E-Manager) the cause may be
a too narrow gap between metering disc and
metering housing.

Remove the backing disc and add an ad-
ditional shim.
Should the number of faults increase, the cause
may be a too narrow gap between metering disc
and metering housing.

Remove the backing disc and remove a shim.
Unused shims are stored in the tool box, to-
gether with the metering discs.
Storing metering discs
The tool box is fitted with brackets for metering
discs (1) and shims (2) that are not needed.
