Fan speed adjustment
The rotary speeds for both fans are
adjusted with
hydraulic pressure.
Due to the additional cooling function, the
fertilizer
fan should always be adjusted to a
speed of min. 3000 rpm.
The vacuum fan can be regulated to lower
speeds, depending on the different seed types.
Function
H
ydraulic motors
drive
the
fertilizer
fan and the
two vacuum fans.
The flow control valves (1 / 2) are used to regu
-
late the oil flow and thus the fan speed.
The pressure for the fan drives increases pro-
portionally with the fan speeds and is limited to
190 bar by pressure relief valves.
A pressure gauge at the front of the hopper
shows the
fertilizer
fan pressure.
Pressure relief valves inside the hydraulic valve
block protect the components and check valves
in the hydraulic line enable coasting down of
the
fan when the
pressure
is switched off.
