Single grain metering unit
The metering unit is the main part of each drill
unit.
The metering unit is electrically driven and indi-
vidually controlled by a computer in the adapter
housing.
All parts inside the metering unit are high preci-
sion parts. Treat these parts with greatest care
and avoid any force.
Do not oil, grease or spray these parts with cor-
rosion protection agents. The parts would stick
together and become porous.
Attention:
When changing single parts do not
use electric threaders to turn in screws. Tighten
the screws only by hand!
To prevent stainless steel screws from sizing,
cover them with e.g. a ceramic paste.
Metering unit
The motor must not be removed from
the housing half.
When assembling disassembled metering units
you should always make sure that the housing
parts are easily fitted by hand and fastened with
the handle screws.
Tighten both handle screws only hand-tight!
