Hydraulic Colored Markings:
Hydraulic circuits are identified by symbols or decals on the hose holder
brackets additionally marked with colored caps or handles to avoid
mixing up by mistake.
1 – Front Hitch / Rear Axle Lift (Green)
2 – Rolling Baskets (Red)
3 – Jack (Black)
4 – Fold (Yellow)
Field Operating Instructions
Entering Field:
1. Turn the Selector Valve ‘ON’ for Field Mode.
2. Raise machine
(1)
completely on front hitch cylinder and rear axle.
3. Remove the yellow safety stops from the rear axle cylinders (x2).
4. Remove any necessary front hitch cylinder depth stops.
Rolling Baskets
Rolling Baskets are an option as a rear finishing system for the Omnis
FT tillage machine. The hydraulic circuit can be operated multiple ways
based on field conditions and desired field finish:
1. Up – Retract cylinders to hold the baskets above ground for
wet/cohesive soils or when soil consolidation is not required.
2. Float – Place SCV (2) in to float position to allow baskets to
follow contour of ground when a light field finish is required in
fine soils.
RECOMMENDED SETTING!
CAUTION! ROLLING BASKETS CANNOT BE OPERATED
WHEN TOUCHING THE GROUND WITH HYDRAULIC
CIRCUIT (2) IN NEUTRAL POSITION. PREMATURE
FAILURE MAY OCCUR TO BASKET COMPONENTS AND
WILL VOID FACTORY WARRANTY!
With cohesive soils the baskets may accumulate material
and become considerably heavier. This can overload
components of the machine, creating difficulties folding
wings, and/or create a hazard on the roads during
transportation. Therefore, rolling baskets must always be
cleaned before road transportation if they have picked up
material.
