14.10 Removable Media
The Removable Media Object is generally used to inform the operator on the current state of
the removable media device and allow access to its file structure. The Removable Media Object
is displayed as a button that changes colors to indicate the current state of the removable media
device. The following indicates the device states and the default colors associated with these
states.

- Device Error

(Yellow) - Device Full (threshold adjustable)

Lowest (Green) - Device OK

Removable Media Object
To view and perform file operations, the operator must access the removable viewer. This is
accomplished by either touching an (enabled) removable media object or through the System
Menu. When accessed, the removable media viewer is displayed as pop-up removable media
dialog like that shown in Figure 14.7.
NOTE: The Removable Media Object can be configured to open the removable media viewer at
a certain directory complete with restrictions on transversing back up the file path. This may
be used to restrict operator access to non-critical files.

The currently selected entry is indicated by a yellow highlight which can be moved up or down
by touching the arrow buttons or by directly touching an entry. If more entries exist than can
fit on the page, a scroll bar is displayed on the right side that also indicates the current relative
position.
