Misfeed: No sheets are fed.
The sheets are not loaded in the bins correctly:

guide is set against the
edge of the stack too
tightly.
Set the front guide so that the guide just
touches the edge of the stack.

Check the setting of the
feed pressure adjusting
block under the bin.
Check the setting of the feed pressure
adjusting blocks on both sides. If a block is
set to the normal position, reset it to the
strong position.

Check the setting of the
pad pressure adjusting
lever on the left side of
the collator.
Open the transport door and check the set-
ting of the pad pressure adjusting lever. If
the lever is set to the strong (lower) position,
reset it to the normal (upper) position.

Check whether the
sheets being used are
within the specifications
for type and size.
Use sheets which are within the specifica-
tions.

Check whether the stack
in each bin is higher than
28 mm (1.1”).
Do not load sheets in a bin higher than 28
mm (1.1”).

Clean the roller using rubber cleaner.
