7.1.4 Measured by EP
1.
Select the EP in the COND pharmacopeia mode
screen.
2.
Before measurement, set the temperature
conversion to OFF in accordance with the
regulation prescribed by EP, and the setting of
the unit is automatically changed to S/cm.
The changed settings are applied.
3.
Tap to proceed to the next procedure.
4.
Immerse the COND electrode in sample solution
and tap
to start the measurement.
When measurement is completed, the conduc-
tivity of the sample solution and the measure-
ment condition are displayed as a measurement
result.
Tap
to return to the COND pharmaco-
peia mode screen.
Evaluation is conducted based on the "7.1.10
Temperature and Conductivity Requirements"
(P.69).
If the measured temperature is between the
indicated temperatures, the value at
temperature lower than the measured
temperature is applied as the permissible
conductivity.
