Identifying supported Series 8 I/O modules
The Series 8 I/O model designations follow “8X-YZZZNN”
format.
Where:
8 is for the Series 8 Product Line.
The model number for every Series 8 product begins with an 8 designation for Series
8.
X is U or C
(U = Standard Assembly and C = Corrosion Protected Assembly)
Y is either C, P, or T
C = Control Processor
P = I/O Module
T = Termination Assembly
ZZZ is a particular function or model.
NN is a series of model and also can be used as additional model information
A1: IOM or Non-redundant IOTA.
B1: Redundant IOTA.
01: Digital Output (Source) Relay Extension Board Models or FOE.
Series 8 IO modules support both coated and non-coated version models.
