Both checkboxes must be activated to have proper amplifier supervision during energy-saving
cycles (sleep & wake).
If the Power-saving Mode checkbox is enabled, when the main power supply (AC power) of
any control unit in the system is faulty, the system will disable all non-emergency functions.
This option is only available when supervision of the main power supply is enabled.
Manual Emergency Exit Timeout means if there is no manual emergency task activated, the
system will exit emergency mode automatically when the time elapsed.
Fire Alarm Interface
This item is used to set the interface type and interface parameters related to the fire alarm
system, which includes Disabled, Dry Contact and LPI-ModBus. The default setting is disabled.
LPI-ModBus is currently not available. If an FACP connection is needed, please use Dry
Contact settings.
Network Setting
Network Setting is used to set RK-MCU network parameters. To change the device IP address,
users need to connect the computer to the Master Control Unit. The network segment of the
computer should be the same as the Master Control Unit. Click the
Update
button to change
the IP address. The IP address of the RK-MCU is 192.168.2.200 by default. Users can also
query the IP address from the menu of the MCU; please refer to the
chapter “
” for details.
Note:
Downloading the configuration file
won’t change any network parameters; the network
configuration can only be changed by updating. When setting the network, please keep the
device and computer connected and ensure that the network configuration is correct.
Storage
Storage shows the storage type used by the RK-MCU. It can be an SD card or Flash and this
can be changed.
Speaker Lines
Speaker Lines is used to enable speaker lines and to define the name and load power. Click
the checkbox as required:
means enabled and
means disabled. Users can change
the name and power of speaker lines. The load power is only used as reference.
Selecting a speaker line and clicking the
button can set all the powers to be the same as

Trigger Mode of Contact Inputs
This table is used to set the trigger mode of each contact input as
Normally Open
or
Normally
Closed
.
If “
Normally Open
” is selected, when the switch of the third-party device is opened, the contact
input will be deactivated, and when the switch is closed, the contact input will be activated.
If “
Normally Closed
” is selected, when the switch of the third-party device is closed, the contact
input will be deactivated, and when the switch is opened, the contact input will be activated.
Note:
The Flash usage/SD card usage status bar shows the actual space of audio files within
playlists assigned to tasks and free space in the MCU.
The capacity for audio files is a maximum of 60 minutes if using flash memory. If the memory is
an SD card, the capacity will be bigger, depending on the capacity of the SD card.
