Power-saving Mode
To ensure a long backup period in case of a back-up power failure, the INTEVIO system can
work in power-saving mode. In this mode, all the non-emergency functions are disabled, all
power amplifiers are switched off but ready for operation again and are woken up regularly for
power amplifier monitoring.
Power-saving settings must also be made in the configuration tool to have proper functionality.
System Hardware Checking
To avoid damage from incorrect connection, carefully check the following:
1
.
Check the power connection of all devices, especially those with AC backup power. Note that
the polarity should match.
2
.
Check the connection of the system extension circuit and the end device should be connected
to the EOL resistor.
3
.
Check the wiring connection from the RK-MCU and the zone expander to the power amplifier.
4
.
Check the wiring connection between the backup power amplifier and related devices.
5
.
Check the wiring connection from the RK-MIC to the RK-MCU and the connection between the
RK-MICs. Note that the end device should be connected to the end resistor.
6
.
To avoid short circuit, ensure there is no burr on the wire terminal.
7
.
Check all the settings for the device addresses and work mode.
8
.
Check the connection of the loudspeaker lines.
Do not apply power to the power supply before all checks are complete. For power supply information,
please refer to “Power On & Off”.
