Connecting 4-wire volume controller
When connecting a 4-wire volume controller,
please refer to the user’s manual of the volume
controller. The diagram below shows the connection:
Connecting Audio Devices
There are 2 auxiliary inputs and 1 MIC/LINE input which can be connected to external audio source
devices. When connecting audio devices, it is necessary to select the matching interface according
to the audio signal type. Unbalanced signal can be input from AUX1/AUX2 (RCA interface). Both
balanced and unbalanced signals can be input through the MIC/LINE (XLR interface). A shielded
cable is required and the plugs in both sides need to match the device interface.
Note:
The gain and phantom power of the MIC/LINE port can be set using the DIP switch. Please set the
DIP switch according to the audio source. The port set to be the LINE input has no phantom power
output by default. When the phantom power is enabled, the interface will output 24V DC and power
to the external audio source. When using this function, ensure that the audio device is not
damaged.
Connecting Computers
When using a PC to configure the system, the Master Control Unit needs to be connected to a PC
with or without Ethernet switch.
