Connecting PTZ
You can control multi-protocol PTZ through RS-485 interface at the rear panel of the
video encoder. The port support many PTZ protocol. Refer to
for
detailed protocol information.
For PTZ device with RS-485 interface, connect the Rx+ and Rx- cables to A and B on the
rear panel of HUSS-E4V encoder. You can also connect several PTZs in parallel form. If
numbers of connected PTZs is larger, connect an impedance of 120Ω between the
farthest terminal of A and B.
Please isolate devices when using PTZ to control outside devices.
Connecting Network
HUSS-E4V encoder can be connected to LAN and WAN as they have standard RJ45
interface and support TCP/IP protocol. Make sure the bandwidth is wide enough when
connecting them to network. It is a switch not a hub that is recommended when setting up
a LAN as exchange avoids long-distance wiring. Please select right bandwidth when
connecting them to WAN.
Please make the wiring follow the standard regulation strictly.
