DOWNLOADING AND UPGRADING HONEYWELL FIRMWARE
Your XILON is delivered with the Honeywell firmware already downloaded. If,
however, at some future point in time you wish to reload or upgrade the Honeywell
firmware (i.e. XILON application or BIOS), proceed as described in the following
two sections.
Downloading the XILON Application
The XILON application (file name e.g.:
xil10093.bin
) is downloaded into XILON
using the Handheld Flash Tool V2.11 (file name:
VC_DL.EXE
). To do this, proceed
as follows:
NOTE:
Before attempting to download the XILON application, it is important that
the database be completely empty.
1. XILON must first be OFF.
2. Start XILON by pressing the
<START>
key.
3. To start the download, press the
<DEL>
key. The following screen appears.
<1> Download
<2> Functional test
<3> Final test
<4> Selftest
<ESC> Cancel

4. Choose "<1> Download." The following screen appears.
