Dolphin Wireless Manager
The Dolphin Wireless Manager provides a centralized interface that enables and disables all the on-board
radios. Each radio has its own configuration program and the Dolphin Wireless Manager also provides
shortcuts to the configuration utilities for each radio.
There are three radio options: 802.11b/g, GSM/GPRS, and Bluetooth.
1. 802.11b/g
If the 802.11b/g radio is installed on the terminal and there is no GSM radio installed, the
802.11b/g radio is enabled after each hard reset by default.
The WLAN radio is configured in the Honeywell WLAN Security Supplicant. The Honeywell
WLAN Security Supplicant User’s Guide is available for download from the Dolphin 7600
terminal’s product page at
www.honeywell.com/aidc
.
2. GSM/GPRS – see
Working with GSM
on page
8-1.
If you have a GSM radio installed, it will be enabled after each hard reset by default.
3. Bluetooth – see
Working with the Bluetooth Radio
on page
9-1.
