HONEYWELL PART NUMBER
This is the complete part number for the configured end unit. It
is laser marked on the nameplate in the "PNR" text field or laser
etched directly on the LRU.
The first seven numbers indicate a basic design family.
The number following the dash denotes a specific configuration
within the basic design family, and indicates that all units
(within the same basic design family) bearing the same number
are interchangeable. Units bearing a different dash number are
not interchangeable.
SERIES
The series number classifies the unit with respect to minor
differences that do not affect interchangeability of the unit but
which do involve a change in spare parts and/or technical data.
Series numbers are assigned in numerical order (starting with
"1") against each specific configuration of unit.
MANUFACTURER DETAILS
MFR 07217 is the CAGE code for Honeywell International Inc.
in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
DMF is the Date of Manufacture in the form MMYYYY, where
MM is the numeric code for the month and YYYY is the year,
i.e., 072003 represents July 2003.
SERIAL NUMBER
The serial number (SER) is made up of 13 characters. The first
seven characters are from the basic outline drawing number.
The five numbers following the dash represent a sequential
number allocated in numerical sequence. In the example
above this would represent the 116th unit off the production
line.
Provision may be made on the nameplate or on a separate modification plate for the identification of retrofitted minor
changes. These changes do not affect interchangeability of the unit but may affect spare parts and/or technical data.
These changes may be made out of sequence and are therefore separately identified. Accordingly, the notation "2"
stamped in the slot would indicate the incorporation of "Change 2" but would not indicate the incorporation of "Change 1"
unless the notation "1" also appeared.
