Install the loading board straight and securely on the transport
vehicle (e.g. truck, etc.).
Do not release the clutch lever during loading/unloading. The tiller
can make abnormal movement when the clutch is released during
loading/unloading.
Move the gearshift lever to the ‘‘TRANSPORT 1’’ position and
check that the rotary is not turning before loading/unloading the
tiller.
Set the differential lock lever in the ‘‘LOCK’’ position.
Set the gearshift lever in the ‘‘FORWARD’’ position for loading,
and set the lever in the ‘‘REVERSE’’ position for unloading.
Start the engine and let it idle for 2 to 3 minutes before loading.
Secure the tiller to the bed by attaching rope to the handlebar and
front guard pipe as shown.
To prevent fuel spillage, drain the fuel from the carburetor (see page
), make sure that the fuel valve is in the OFF position, and keep
tiller level.
Set the loading board parallel to the bed of the transport vehicle.
Stand in the center of the loading board width and be sure that the
right and left rear wheels of the tiller are parallel to the loading
board.
