The dust and pollen filter is located
behind the glove box.
To replace it:
Open the glove box.
Disengage the two tabs by
pushing on each side panel.
This filter removes the dust and
pollen that is brought in from the
outside through the climate control
system.
Push the stop on the passenger’s
side of the glove box to detach it
from the glove box, then
disengage the two tabs by pushing
on each side panel.
Pivot the glove box out of the way.
This filter should be replaced during
scheduled maintenance. On EU,
Australian, and New Zealand models,
refer to the maintenance schedule in
the separate service information
booklet that came with your vehicle.
On other models, see the
maintenance schedules in this
owner’s manual.
The dust and pollen filter should be
replaced at short intervals if you
drive primarily in urban areas that
have high concentrations of soot in
the air from industry and diesel-
powered vehicles. Replace it more
often if airflow from the climate
control system becomes less than
usual.
