As a safety feature, your vehicle has
a release lever on the boot latch so
the boot can be opened from the
inside. To open the boot, push the
release lever in the direction pointed
by an arrow.
Keep the boot lid closed at all times
while driving to avoid damaging the
lid, and to prevent exhaust gas from
getting into the interior. See
on page
.
To close the boot, press down on the
boot lid.
If your vehicle has a master key and
a valet key, to protect items in the
boot when you need to give the key
to someone else, lock the boot
release handle with the master key
and give the other person the valet
key.
You can lock the boot release handle
with the master key to protect items
in the boot.
Parents should decide if their
children should be shown how to use
this feature. For more information
about child safety, see page
.
