TO SELECT THE DISPLAY DIRECTION
Selection of direction
Either North Up or Course Up is selected by
pressing [NORTH UP] key or [COURSE UP]
key.
[North Up] :Just upper of display becomes
“North”.
[Course Up] :Just upper of display becomes
“Bearing of own boat”.

Note ) Automatic course-up function is not available by selecting “ON” of
“AUTO COURSE UP” on the menu only. After selected it, please press
[COURSE UP] key.
TO SET RANGE YOU ALWAYS USE
Setting the range
If you preset often used range, just only QUICK
RANGE key makes you quick change the
range. You can set up to 2 ranges. You change
range by pressing key.
Select [8.OTHERS] → [3.SWITCH KEY] on
menu.
Establish each items on [3. SWITCH KEY]. (

Each time you press [ ] key, range switches
alternately.

Note ) It is effective when [6. READOUT SETTING] → [1. MAP READOUT] →
[8.TWIN MAP] is OFF.
[Course Up]
“Manual/Auto” course-up can be selected on menu. (Refer to page 54)
Auto course-up “ON”:
When the bearing of own boat changes, just upper of screen is shown as “Bearing
of own boat” automatically.
This function is available under the condition that boat speed is more than 1.5 knobs
and bearing of own boat turns more than
±30°
from just upper of screen.
Auto course-up “OFF”:
Only when [COURSE UP] key is pressed, just upper of screen is shown as “Bearing
of own boat.”
