NOTE:
If painting with an oil-based paint, use manufacturer’s recommended cleaning solvent instead of warm
water in the following steps. Follow manufacturer’s directions for using mineral spirits and disposal, then wash out the
PAINTSTICK EZ-TWIST with warm water.
1.
Return paint from PAINTSTICK
EZ-TWIST to paint can by
holding PAINTSTICK EZ-TWIST
at a 45° angle. Make sure
switch is in the up position, and
push PAINTSTICK EZ-TWIST
fill port onto fill tube until it
bottoms on fill tube. Push in the
inner handle until it stops.
2.
Remove paint from roller
assembly by holding finger over
fill port and pulling inner handle
back. Repeat previous step.
• NOTE:
Make sure the toggle
switch is in the up position for
all cleaning steps.
3.
Clean PAINTSTICK EZ-TWIST
by submerging PAINTSTICK
EZ-TWIST in warm water so
the roller cover and fill port are
covered. Pull inner handle back
and push forward several times.
4.
Remove roller frame by
unscrewing nut on end of roller
frame.
5.
Insert paint can cover and fill
tube into fill port. Place in warm
water and flush fill tube by
pulling inner handle back and
pushing forward several times.
Remove paint can cover and
fill tube.
6.
Place PAINTSTICK EZ-TWIST
into clean warm water and
flush fill port by plugging end
of PAINTSTICK EZ-TWIST with
finger and pulling inner handle
back and pushing forward
several times.
• NOTE:
For best performance,
clean fill tube also.

7a.
Grasp clear tube firmly and turn handle counterclockwise to unscrew.
Remove piston from clear outer tube.
• NOTE:
If there is paint on the piston, remove it with a damp rag.
7b.
To reassemble, hold the tube securely and turn the handle clockwise
until secure.
• NOTE:
Make sure o-rings/quad rings do not get pinched or roll during
assembly.
