WARNING:

1.  Use a grounded receptacle only. 115V/60Hz(240V/50Hz) volts are required for

vacuum operation.

2. Replace gloves when worn or as necessary.

3.  Keep work area clean and well lit. Wear proper protective clothing and safety

goggles to prevent injury.

4.  115 V / 230 V ARE REQUIRED FOR LIGHT OPERATION. Do not use over 7 watt,

12 volt light bulb.

5. For best results use a 5 HP air compressor.

6.  Prior to first use, install a protective window cover onto the inside of the cabinet.

This protects the safety glass from continual use.

7. Clean dust collector and filters often.

8. Weekly inspect all parts for signs of wear and / or leaks.

9. Avoid moisture in the air lines and abrasives.

10.  Excessive amounts of abrasive will create clouded cabinet conditions; blowby of

media through the exhaust, or sluggish and ineffective blasting performance.

11.  All blasting systems are prone to plugging or wear because of the media used.

The following items should be checked for wear as indicated.

 Plugged  conditions:

The nozzle may become plugged from moist media. Try dislodging the media

with a drill bit held in your hand. You need to get rid of the moist media. If the

abrasive pick-up hose appears plugged, cover the gun tip and force the air back

through this hose. Dust may fly up when you do this, so make sure the cabinet is

securely closed and latched!

 Wear  conditions:

This is usually noted when an excessive amount of dust appears in the cabinet.

 Dust will occur if:

•The abrasive media is worn out. If it has lost it’s granular or spherical appear-

ance or has a lot of debris from the parts being blasted and mixed in, replace it.

This is usually noticed when the abrasive media that exits the nozzle looks like a

smoke cloud coming instead of a stream.

• The air outlet vent is plugged or air flow out is blocked. Cleaning this vent

should help reduce dust in the cabinet. The gun parts may wear out. This is

evident when the blast pattern is too wide and ineffective, simply replace nozzle

or orifice.
