First, open the container and remove the accessories and the transport safety.
Position the wastewater lifting system horizontally on a flat floor. To ensure low -noise operation, a minimum
distance of 5 mm between the lifting system and the walls must be observed.
Feed:
Place the container in position and determine the position of the desired fe eds.
Horizontal (DN40): remove the inlet sleeve of the lid and pierce the cap 50mm with a hole saw. Refit
sleeve and feed tube through the sleeve, max. 2cm, into the container.
Vertical (DN50): All four vertical feeds have the same size - DN 50.
The two lower inlets are designed for
the connection of a shower.
First, drill with a 56 mm hole saw the corresponding feed on. Then assemble the supplied rubber sl e eve
using a hose clamp. As a final step, put the lead in the available side of the rubber sleeve and al s o fi x i t
with a hose clamp.
Pressure connection
Put the pressure line to the sewer connection into the rubber sleeve and fix it with the supplied hose clamp.
Lay the pressure line, steadily rising (ideally first vertically, then horizontally) in a loop above the level of the
backflow level of the public sewer.
This prevents sewage from being pushed back into the lifting system's container through the pressure line, i n th e
event of an increase in the water level in the sewer, e.g. due to heavy rain. Run the pressure line directly to the
next collecting runoff. Recheck all joints and connections for tightness.
A freezing of the pressure line must be prevented. It is advisable to insulate the entire pressure line sufficiently.
Automatic float switch
If the water level rises to a certain maximum level (switch -on point), the float will automatically switch the pump
on. If the water level drops down to a certain minimum level during pumping (switch -off point), the float s w i tch e s
off the pump.
The switch points are not adjustable! The floating cable length is set to 70 mm and may not be adjusted.
The float attachment and the float function should be checked strictly by hand through several
trial runs (lifting of the float) .
5.3. Electrics
Risk of electrocution!
Improper use of electricity can be fatal! All pumps with free cable ends must be connected by a qualified
electrician.
A professional inspection prior to initial operation must ensure that the required electrical
protection measures are in place.
The voltage specified in the technical data must correspond with the local power supply.
Make sure that the electrical connections are located in a flood-proof area and are protected from
moisture. The power cord and plug must be checked for damage before use.
The electrical connection must be made in accordance with the local regulations of the NEC or NFPA 70 The
supply voltage and frequency are indicated on the nameplate of the pump and the switching device. Th e vo l ta g e
tolerance must be b6% to -10% of the supply voltage. It is important to ensure that the data provid e d o n
the nameplate corresponds with the existing power supply. The lifting systems require no further motor protection.
5.4. Initial operation
Never allow the pump to run dry for a prolonged time (risk of overheating).
Before the initial operation of the plant, the provided sleeve valves or gate valves are to be
opened.
