3. General description
3.1. Use
The pumps are suitable for conveying chemically aggres-
sive pumped mediums with solid particles (see 3.3 for
grain size). Scope of application: e.g. wastewater dispos-
al in industrial and commercial areas, lowering of surface
water level. Emergency use in the event of flooding. With
chemically aggressive components in the pumped medi-
um, the resistance of the pump materials used must be
noted at all times. The pumps are suitable for both mo-
bile and stationary operation. Free-standing installation on
firm base is possible. The pumps are not suitable for con-
veying mediums with strongly abrasive components (e.g.
sand, gravel, stones). The minimal level of the medium
must always be above the upper edge of the suction filter.
Use in slurp mode is not permitted. The temperature of
the pumped medium may be up to 40°C, short-term up
to 60°C maximum. The maximum density of the pumped
medium is 1,040 kg/m³ and the pH value may range from
5 to 14.
3.2. Types of Application
•
Pumps CH413 are designed for 40% S3 intermittent
operation.
•
Pumps CH43… are designed for continuous opera-
tion mode S1 with a switching frequency of 15 cir-
cuits/hour.
3.3. Construction
The submersible aggregate consists of the motor, the
pump casing and the suitable impeller. All important parts
are of generous dimension.
