The way to avoid kickback is to prevent the wood from
closing on the saw blade. For this, the stop must be set
correctly. If the auxiliary stop is set too far forward, it can
push the wood into the saw blade and cause a kickback.
By adjusting the auxiliary stopper in front of the center of
the saw blade, the wood has room to move when the cut
is made.
The kickback is now much less likely because the wood
is not forced into the upwardly moving saw blade.

Care, Maintenance and Repair
- Maintenance and repair must be performed by a
qualified person. Do not perform any maintenance
work before you have thoroughly familiarized
yourself with the maintenance instructions.
- Before you start servicing, always turn off the
switch and unplug it from the wall outlet. A possibi
-
lity of accidentally turning on the machine by ano
-
ther person is thus avoided.
- Even if the machine is stopped, the power supply is
not interrupted. Always remove the plug from the
socket.

Danger to life due to electric shock!
There is danger to life when in contact with live com

ponents. Switched on electrical components can
cause uncontrolled movements and lead to serious
injuries.
- Before starting any cleaning or maintenance work,
switch off the machine and disconnect the power
plug.
