2016 Admiral
dAsH RAdIO
The dash radio includes an AM/FM tuner,
CD/DVD player, Rear Camera, an iPod
connection and is Sirius ready (subscription
not included). A remote control is included
(not shown). The system uses a touch-screen
display. Each selected feature will bring up a
new menu for the selected feature. Press the
Home button to return to the main menu.
Operation Requirements:
Turn on the battery disconnect switch.

Turn on the radio.
z
INFORMATION:
Only the most common connections
and features are described. The system
is comprehensive. It is recommended
to refer to the dash radio OEM manual
for detailed operating instructions and
information. While the system has
many features, function buttons with
black text mean the source or function
(such as Navigation) is not available.
To Set the Clock:
Press the Settings button.
z
Press the Time button.
z
Use the arrows to set hour and minute.
z
The clock can be set for 12 or 24 hour
display by pressing the Time Format
button.
To Play the Radio:
Press the Band button to select AM or
z
FM.
Right or Left buttons increase or
z
decrease frequency.
Press and hold one of the preset buttons
z
to store the station in memory.
Adjust Volume to desired level.
z
To Play a CD or DVD:
Insert a CD or DVD.
z
The menu will change and the disc will
z
load and play automatically.
Adjust Volume to desired level.
z
NOTE:
DVD video is unavailable while the
vehicle is in motion. Turn the ignition
off and set the park brake to display
video.
USB Port:
Insert a USB device or connect an iPod
z
(cable not provided) to the USB port.
The radio will automatically switch
z
modes.
NOTE:
Not all MP3 players may be
compatible or require updates to the
device. The radio will automatically
switch modes when a USB device is
connected. Depending on compatibility
the source material, the radio may
display track title and file type
information.
SD Card Operation:
Insert the Secure Digital (SD) flash
z
memory card into the slot on the front
panel.
The unit will automatically switch to
z
the SD Card mode and start playing.
Depending on the source material, the
z
radio may display track title and file
type information.
Aux In/iPod (Stereo Jack):
Connect a cable with a 1/8” stereo plug
z
(male) on both ends from an auxiliary
device (such as an MP3 player
headphone jack or a laptop computer
speaker/headphone output) to the
“Aux In” input. This will give audio
reproduction through the dash stereo.
Set the auxiliary device to a mid-range
z
volume level and adjust volume at the
dash stereo for best results.
Source information may not display
z
on the radio screen (such as song title,
artist, etc.).
