CONTROL UNIT 97 01 930
1.
General information
1.1
Supply voltage 12 V. Make sure of correct polarity (see back panel of unit).
1.2
Only use 12 V magnetic valves. max. output 12 W.
1.3
In humid conditions the unit should not be mounted all the time on the machine,
e.g. overnight.
1.4
When starting the engine while the unit is switched on, the switch "Stop/Start"
must not be on "Start".
Normally, starting the engine has no interfering influence on the control unit when
it is switched on. However, if the figure on the display appears 100 and/or even
the gun is activated, this indicates a defective or almost completely discharged
battery. Thus, when starting the engine, the voltage necessary for the control unit
collapses in a rapid sequence and results in the mentioned effects.
1.5
Standstill and moving the machine to and for inside gaps
Inside gaps between interrupted lines, the electronic system has a so-called
direction detector. The impulses generated during backwards moving are
subtracted from those generated during forward operations.
Even when the engine is running during standstill, the impulses generated by
longitudinal vibration in the machine are neutralized.
Therefore, when the machine stopps in a gap (even for a longer period) and/or
moves to and for within the gap* while marking a programme, it is not necessary
to switch off either the electronic system or the impulse generator. Upon
continuing marking the next line begins at the exact location determined by the
programme.
* If the gap will be carried over during backward movement the programm must
be restarted at the end of the last line, with the gap, by operating the "Start"
switch respectively the remote control when continuing with marking.
