other flammable objects.
• Set up the appliance at a safety distance from
any flammable materials (e.g. curtains).
• During use or when still hot, keep the appliance
away from surfaces that are not heat resistant,
do not leave it near clothes, curtains, paper
or other combustible objects. Never cover it
and make sure there is a good air circulation
around it.
• During the first use you may notice an odd
smell or some smoke, this is perfectly normal
and disappears after a while.
• WARNING: Charcoal or similar combustible
fuels must not be used with this appliance.
• Do not line the plate or the drip tray with
aluminium foil. This may result in the appliance
being overheated.
• Do not place food packaged in paper or plastic
on the grill plate.
• If food fats catch on fire, remember that you
should not use water to extinguish the flames.
First use a fire blanket, a blanket or something
similar.
• Never pour cold water over the grill while it is
hot.
• The connection socket of the appliance must be
easily accessible so that in case of emergency
the plug can be switched off quickly.
