6.8.2 Connection external positioning measuring system for HM-S and HT-S
The positioning measuring system HIWIN MAGIC is located on the side of the carriage. The cable length is 5 m. With open
cable end.
If the encoder is connected according to Table 6.26, the counting direction (with the encoder moving) is given according to
the definitions in Fig. 6.57 and Fig. 6.58.
If a positive counting direction in the opposite direction is desired, “A” must be exchanged with “B” and “Ā” with “B¯” when
connecting to the electronic evaluation system.
