5-6 TPH Voltage Adjustment
- When Should You Adjust & Calibrate the TPH Voltage?
1. When you change the TPH
2. When you change the Main Board
Note:
If it is only a slight density or color preference issue, please adjust Heating Energy
(Driver/Printing Preference/Tools) to fulfill the preference.
- How to Adjust & Calibrate?
1. Print a sample card and Print Chart (Before change TPH) in HTools with the original TPH
before replacing (if applicable) (this card will be used in comparing with the one printed by the
new TPH)
2. Check out the resistance (R) of new TPH installed (the label type or location could change)
3. Run HTools input “R” click “Calibrate TPH Voltage” to calibrate the TPH voltage.
4. Refer to the following table to find out the standard P/B Voltage accordingly. (For example:
R=3138. The TPH Voltage is about 20.73V).
5. Print a Print Chart (After change TPH) and Apply “Fine Adjust TPH Voltage” to make final
adjustment (comparing with the original prints)
Note: This is a reference for narrowing the range only. It’s not an exact value to apply. You should
make fine tune according to the prints.
