2) Setting of color temperature range (ATW RANGE)
a) The cursor [

] is matched to
ATW RANGE
by the UP or DOWN command.
b) The range of the color temperature follow is switched by the SET command. Please set it
according to use conditions.

8000K and special luminance (sodium light and mercury lamp)
Note
a) Set to SPECIAL MODE, when picture is taken under the sodium light or mercury lamp. It is
not possible to adjust white balance completely, but color distinction is possible.
b) Under the following conditions, the white balance is not adjustable. It is not a defect. Same
color occupies the major portion of the screen.
・
White or achromatic color is extremely low.
・
Background is red and blue.
3) White detection area setting (WB AREA)
a) The cursor [

] is matched to
WB AREA
by the UP or DOWN command.
b) The SET command is transmitted and the white detection area mode is switched. Please set it
according to use conditions.
SET command:

White detection from whole screen.
ON (NO.*):
White detection from specified area.
c) When the display becomes turning on (NO.*),
AREA SELECT
is displayed below by one line.
d) When the cursor is matched to

, and the SET command is transmitted, the white
detection area position and setting menus that select the white detection area are displayed.
e) There are 9 detection areas. The white detection area changes whenever the UP or DOWN
command is transmitted. Please select it from NO.1
～
9 so that white subject may enter in the
area.
