Stage Symptom
Suspected Cause and Action To Be Taken
a.
The POWER lamp in the front access
area of the Gateway is not lit in green.
Check if the power cord plug is firmly inserted
in the outlet.
Try connecting any other device to the outlet to
see if the power is supplied to the outlet.
If the power cord is plugged to a service outlet
of any other device such as PC, plug the power
cord directly to a mains outlet. Otherwise,
disconnection of power to the service outlet
also disconnects power to the Gateway.
Check if the power cord is free of damage. If
you find any damage, immediately unplug the
power cord from the outlet.
b.
The ALARM lamp in the front access
area of the Gateway is lit in red.
The Gateway is in error. Restart the Gateway by
unplugging and plugging the power cord with an
interval of 10 seconds or longer between
unplugging and plugging.
c.
When the WAN port in the rear access
area of the Gateway is in use, the WAN
lamp in the front access area is not lit in
green or not blinking in green.
Check if both the Gateway and the WAN side
equipment are turned on.
Reconnect the LAN cable between the WAN
port of the Gateway and the LAN port of the
WAN side equipment until you hear a click from
each port connection.
