NOTE:
The turn signal light switch is only
operative when the key switch is in the
“ON” position.
If the emergency light switch is pressed to
the “ON” position while the turn signal is
activated, the indicated turning light will
flash and other will stay on.
Be sure to return switch to center position
after turning.

Brake Pedal
CAUTION:
To avoid personal injury:
If the operator suddenly brakes, an
accident may occur due to loss of
control or the shifting forward of heavy
loads.
When driving on icy, wet or loose
surface, make sure the vehicle is
correctly loaded to avoid skidding or
loss of steering control. Reduce the
speed.
The brake pedal is the left pedal on the foot
board. Depress the pedal to slow or stop the vehicle.

Range Gear Shift Lever
CAUTION:
To avoid personal injury:
Avoid changing gears when ascending
or descending a slope.
Before ascending or descending a
slope, shift to the “L” range to control
the vehicle speed.
If you shift gears while ascending or
descending a slope, be prepared to use
the brake to maintain control.
Operate in reverse at slow speeds to
maintain control.
1. The range gear shift lever can only be
shifted only when the vehicle is completely
stopped and the brake pedal is pressed.
2. To avoid transmission and shift linkage
damage, completely stop the vehicle using
the brake pedal before shifting gears.
