1. Turn off the computer and all connected peripherals.
2. Remove the cover from your system.
3. If your system has an existing display card, remove any screws and the
clip that most PCI Express slots have securing the card to the chassis
and lift the card out of the slot. Or, if your computer features an on-board
graphics display adapter, you may need to disable it. For details, refer to
the documentation of your computer system.
4. Locate the appropriate expansion bus slot on your motherboard. PCI
Express cards uses a PCI Express slot. Please consult your motherboard
manual for the appropriate slot.
Before installing your new card into your PC system, make sure that you
have discharged any static electricity from your body by touching any
grounded metal surface, such as the PC chassis.
