19. Check to see if you can turn the stages on and off with the toggle switches on the front of the
contactor panel.
20. Check the voltage on the IN terminal of the System 500 board.
10.5. If Stages are not working at all
21. Check fuse on the System 500 board labeled F1. Make sure you are reading 12VDC on both sides of
fuse. Fuse should be a 2amp mini fuse.
22. Check to make sure that the WHITE wire that connects all contactors is not disconnected.
23. Repeat steps 16-20.
10.6. If Backup System is not working at all
24. Make sure sensor is OK by disconnecting it from the backup board and checking it with a meter. Put
meter on Ohm’s to see if it is broken or shorted. Refer to the Resistance Chart.
25. Make sure that the GREEN wire that connects from Backup Control Board to Backup Relay Board is
connected.
26. If Backup light is not on, check voltage between GREEN and WHITE and between GREEN and
RED. This voltage should be 24VDC.
10.7. If Variable Speed unit is not working at all
27. Check fuse in the External Variable Speed Unit F1. Fuse should be a 15amp mini fuse.
28. Make sure breaker is not tripped.
29. Make sure that the External Variable Speed Unit is getting voltage on the IN terminal.
