If the Target Temp is set at 80 degrees, Offset set at 5 degrees, and Differential set at 2
degrees, The System will disengage the fans when building temperature reaches 85
degrees.
Target Temp + Offset = Cool Mode Off
80 + 5 = 85
The stages offset and differential are determined by the program you have
selected with the program bank, and stages switches on the inside of the
controller. A list of all the stage programs is printed at the back of this manual.
7.3. Back-up Operation
To adjust the high and low limits, turn the appropriate knob until the white mark is aligned with
the temperature you want.
The reminder reset button will sound the buzzer whenever it is pressed. This lets you know that
the buzzer is working. The buzzer has a five day timer that will continuously sound the buzzer
after approximately five days. Any time you press the button you reset the five-day timer.
8. Maintenance
There are few items on the ICS-500 which require maintenance. This does not mean that maintenance is
not important. Remember that the more time you spend making things right, the less time you will spend
correcting problems. Check the calibration of your sensors whenever it is convenient. This needs to be
done on a regular basis to be sure that the controller is seeing an accurate representation of house
temperature.
