Indication for use:
The Flexible Anesthesia Screen is used in a variety of surgical procedures including,
but not limited to supine, prone, and lateral positioning. This device is capable of
being used with a broad patient population as determined appropriate by the
caregiver or institution.
Intended use:
The Flexible Anesthesia Screen is designed to holds the drape above the patient's
face to provide visual access to the patient's face for anesthesia. It is used in a variety
of surgical procedures including, but not limited to supine, prone, lateral positioning.
This device is intended to be used by healthcare professionals within the Operating
Room setting.
3 Equipment Setup and Use:
Prior to use:
a. Inspect the product looking for any visible damage or sharp edges that could
be caused by a drop or impact during storage.
b. Make sure product has been properly cleaned and disinfected and wiped dry
prior to each use.
Setup:
a. The Flexible Anesthesia Screen requires two standard table sockets for
attachment to the surgical table rails.
b. Place the sockets on the table rails where required and insert the Anesthesia
Screen mount posts. Tighten the lock handles on the sockets.
c. The screen tube can be bent and formed as desired and the tube will hold its
shape.
