6-2 Adjusting the presser foot pressure
Correct stitches
Upper thread
The presserfoot pressure should be as weak as possible,
But storng enough so that the material does not slip.
1) Loosen the adjusting nut(1)
。
2) Turn the presser adjusting screw(2) to adjust the
presser foot pressure.
3) Tighten the adjusting nut(1).
6-3 Adjusting the trailing length after thread trimming
·At the time of thread trimming, the thread tension is
Loosened and tension is applied by the pretension(1)
only.
·The standard trailing length for the upper thread is
35-40mm 。
·If the tension of the pretension(1) is increased, the
Lengths of the threads trailing from the needle tips will
be reduced; if the tension is reduced, the lengths will
be increased.
Adjust by turning the pretension(1).
Skipped stitch occur
Uneven stitch length
Increase the pressure.
Stitches are puckered
Decrease the pressure.
Becomes weaker
Becomes stronger
